Satellite Broadband Internet
Unlimited Satellite Broadband High-Capacity Services
There are many remote areas in Scotland that need a high-end solution where there is no land line, Broadband or 4G available. However, to get a fibre link installed, quotes are in the many tens of thousands of pounds just to get a line installed and then yearly costs are in the region of £12,000 per annum.
Scottish provider Simply Balanced Business Services are able to use the well established and highly reputable iDirect platform to deliver a low contention, high capacity service across Scotland that can be installed at a fraction of the cost of installing a fibre link. The service, supplied via Avanti in the UK on their HYLAS satellite fleet, may not be as fast as a fibre link, but it is much faster than the standard satellite broadband services on offer and data usage is UNLIMITED!
This is a bespoke service and we do need to speak to you about your requirements. In general contention will be between 10:1 and 20:1, however we can also provide dedicated capacity. We would work with you to identify the best equipment to deliver the service, the exact service specifications and how the service is delivered.
We can also provide dedicated pooled bandwidth to share with many of your sites across Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands and Eilean Siar, and the rest of the UK. This can be ideal for businesses with several offices or mobile medical diagnostic services where this can deliver significant savings on your bandwidth service costs. We can deliver different levels of services to different mobile units dependent on the medical service they deliver and can schedule delivery of bandwidth over time to suit the expansion of your service.
